Joseph Rivera of Baila Society and Melissa Ramirez from the Latino Commission on AIDS were invited to speak on Good Day NY this week and talk about both the Commission and the Bailando por una Causa event held at El Museo del Barrio on 10.4.11.

This is Nelida Tirado - she absolutely blew everyone away with her incredible Flamenco performance. Nelida emanates all that is sexy, sensual and beautiful about this type of dance - she was amazing to watch!
As I mentioned Tuesday night I got to photograph, “Bailando Por Una Causa,” an amazing night of dance hosted by Baila Society to benefit the Latino Commission on AIDS.

The inspiration for this blog came from my favorite poem as a little girl, The Butterfly Jar by Jeff Moss:
